Solo Recital for the "Internationale Dresdner Orgelwoche."  This is Nathan's second appearance at the Fraunenkirche, first appearing there for the opening concert of the Dresden Music Festival in 2012.  The original Silbermann organ, famously played by Johann Sebastian Bach in 1736 was tragically destroyed, along with the church, in 1945.  Daniel Kern's new instrument, however, captures the spirit of Gottfried Silbermann in its new, reconstructed home.

Nathan will perform a solo recital in the splendid Beax-Arts Victoria Hall, a magnificent concert hall built between 1891-1894 famous for its remarkable acoustic properties.  The organ, modeled closely on the symphonic ninetheenth-century instruments of Aristide Cavaillé-Coll, was inaugurated in 1993 and remains the visual focal point of the hall.
